Trekking.
Accommodation:
Separate accommodation for boys and girls will be arranged on a 3–4 sharing basis in a hotel at Manali. At Moridugh, participants will stay in tents equipped with sleeping bags. Detached toilet facilities will be available at the campsite.
Please Carry:
Six pairs of comfortable clothes, night dress, bath towel, trekking shoes, socks, sandals/floaters, sweater, jacket, raincoat, thermals, woollen cap, woollen socks, gloves, air-pillow, water bottle, head lamp, daypack, folding umbrella, water-proof shoe bag, trekking pole (optional) and toiletries (soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, sunscreen, cold cream, lip balm etc.). Also carry an original photo ID proof. The participants may have to pay fine, wherever applicable in the absence of original photo ID.
All the Items mentioned should preferably be packed in a rucksack that is easier to carry. Please do not bring any disposable items, ornaments and other valuables. Binoculars and camera are optional.
Certificate:
A specially designed certificate will be issued to successful participants.
Food:
Wholesome and hygienic vegetarian food will be served. Jain Food will be available on prior request at the campsite but the same cannot be guaranteed during the Journey. Two bottles of drinking water per day will be provided during the train journey.
Medical Facilities:
In the form of First aid would be available throughout the programme. All emergencies would be treated by the nearest available doctor/medical facility. If any participant/s needs to be taken to a clinic or hospital, they will be responsible for covering the doctor's fee, medical expenses, transport charges, and any other related costs.
