Shimla: Camp site is situated at an altitude of 2250 mtrs above sea level on Kufri-Chail road. This is a veritable paradise endowed with great natural beauty surrounded by lofty snow capped peaks & dense forest of Deodar & Oak. It’s a must visit place to experience the power and mystery of this unusual and unbelievable landscape.

Open to all.

Activities: Navigation trekking through map reading, Bush Craft, Double Rope Crossing, Burma Bridge, Rappelling, Treasure Hunt and Campfire.

Accommodation: will be in Eco-Huts with attached washrooms on 4/5 sharing basis for students and Rooms for families.

Please Carry: Four pairs of casual clothes, Heavy woolens, Bath towel, sports shoes, cotton socks, slippers/floaters, torch, cap, water bag, day pack and sanitary requisites. Sleeping bags will be provided at the campsite.

All the Items mentioned should preferably be packed in a rucksack that is easier to carry. Please do not bring plastic/polythene bags or any disposable items, ornaments, cell phone and other valuables. Binoculars and camera are optional.

Cell Phones: are allowed during travelling and only inside the Eco-hut at the campsite. Mobile photography is strickly prohibited.

Certificate: A specially designed certificate will be issued to students who participate in all the activities & abide by all the Camp rules.

Food: Wholesome and hygienic vegetarian food will be served. Jain food will be available on prior request. Two bottles of drinking water per day will be provided during train journey.

Essential Medical: Facilities in the form of first aid would be available at the campsite. All emerginces would be treated by the nearest available doctor/medical facility.

Please Submit: A Photocopy of the Photo ID proof at the time of registration and the same original Photo ID proof, seven days before departure. The participants may have to pay fine, wherever applicable in the absence of original Photo ID.

Please Note: Road journey in all the programmes would be in Non Ac vehicles.

SHIMLA TENTATIVE SCHEDULE: For Batch No. 1 – Special 3AC Coach

Day 01: Depart for Jalandhar by train in the morning.
 
Day 02: Arrive Jalandhar in the noon and leave for Shimla Campsite by 3x2 Non Ac luxury bus. Arrive Campsite at around 11.00 pm. Basic instructions, Tent allotment.

Day 03: Orientation meeting in the morning. Short trek in the forest after breakfast. Valley crossing & Bush Craft in two groups after lunch.

Day 04: Rappelling-Double Rope Crossing and Bamboo bridge-Burma bridge after breakfast in two groups. Group will inter change after lunch.

Day 05: Zipline and treasure hunt after breakfast. Navigation trek through map reading after lunch.

Day 06: Concluding session in the morning. Visit to Kufri Nature Park and Visit Shimla town in the afternoon. Depart for Pathankot after dinner.
 
Day 07: Arrive Pathankot in the morning and leave for Ahmedabad by train in the morning.
 
Day 08: Arrive Ahmedabad in the afternoon.

*Final travel schedule will be ready 2 days before the departure.

*If we don't get the tickets in a direct train, we may go via Udaipur.

Charges:
3 AC Train Journey (Special Coach): Batch No. 1  
Rs. 20,200/- for Students (11 to 22 yrs)

Rs. 18,200/- for Child with family (5 to 10 yrs)

3 AC Train Journey (Regular Coch): Batch No. 2
Rs. 18,200/- for Students (11 to 22 yrs)  
Rs. 19,400/- for Others (Above 22 yrs)  
Rs. 16,200/- for Child with family (5 to 10 yrs)

Our charges are inclusive of accomodation, travelling from Ahmedbad (by different modes), food, service charges and GST.  All charges are per person.

Registration: 

Please fill up the registration form and pay an advance of Rs. 6000/- for 3 AC Train Journey to confirm your booking. The balance payment should reach our office at least 30 days before the commencement of the journey. Reservation is done on first come first served basis. Railway reservation will depend on the availability of tickets.

Package Cost Includes:

All meals during the camp/tour (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner). Transfers & sightseeing as mentioned in the itinerary by Non-A/c Vehicle. Accommodation in Tents. Assistance on arrival. 

Package Cost Does Not Include:
Any meals other than those mentioned above. Any Hotel tips, Room Service, Laundry, Mineral water, Telephone charges and all items of personal nature and meals and drinks not specified in the inclusions. Any services not specifically mentioned in the inclusions. .Camera fees wherever applicable. Ropeway/Boating charges wherever applicable. In case if any sightseeing place is cancelled or rescheduled, due to any unforeseen reasons, no refund will be given for that. 

Cheques or DD should be in favour of OUTDOORS UNLIMITED, payable at VADODARA only.

Cancellation Charges:
Minimum : @10%
Between 30 & 15 days : @25%
Between 14 & 8 days : @50%
Last 7 days : No Refund

* Cancellation charges will be applicable on total Program cost.
* Please note that the booking is not transferable.
* Please bring original receipt for claiming the refund.

*Jain food will be provided on demand as per availability
*The amount once paid is non transferable.
*The balance payment is to be paid atleast 30 days before the departure of the batch. If balance payment is not made on time it would automatically be considered cancelled without any prior intimation and no refund would be given in this regard.
*Local Cheque/Demand Draft should be issued in favour of OUTDOORS UNLIMITED
*Outstation cheque would not beaccepted.
*Payment against dishonored cheque/s to be paid in cash with additional charge of Rs.200/- per cheque.
*No refund will be given in case the participant terminates the tour at any point due to any reason.
*According to the strength of the group proper vehicle would be arranged and that should be acceptable to all.
*Participants will have to walk to visit the places that are near to the hotel or where our vehicle cannot reach.
*Please do not bring valuables in the tour. It will be participants’ duty to take care of their own luggage. Company is not liable for any kind of theft, loss or damage to your luggage.
*At any point during the tour if any damage is done to the hotel property or bus or at any other point knowingly or unknowingly by any participant the responsible participant will have to bear the total damage charges and will have to settle it on the spot.
*Tour may be cancelled if there is not enough strength, actual amount paid by the participant towards the trip will be refunded by A/c payee cheque only. No other claims will be entertained.
*It is the responsibility of participant to collect the necessary travel documents from our office on time.
*The organisers or any individual connected with it will no be held responsible in case of any accident or any unforeseen calamity.
*The Company reserves the unconditional right to refuse a booking/terminate a passenger on tour in event of unreasonable behaviour at any time.
*The Company has the right at any time and for any reason to amend, alter, vary or withdraw/substitute a hotel, travel arrangement or independent contractor for the reasons, which may be deemed fit and proper by the Company. The passengers shall have no rights to raise any dispute regarding the same.
*In case if the tour days increases due to any unforeseen circumstances, the participants will have to pay Rs.400/- per head per day in cash to the tour manager.
*Company has the right to use the participant's name, information and photographs in promotional materials, brochures and press releases.
*In case if any rescue operation is to be undertaken, it will be charged from the participants on actual basis.
*Organisers will not be responsible towards any internal disputes arising with fellow participants.
*Any claim or complaint by the passenger must be notified to the Company in writing within ten days after the tour completion date. No claim notified to the Company outside this period will be entertained and the Company shall incur no liability in respect thereof.
*If the passenger has any complaint in respect of services provided by any of the independent contractors, the passenger shall immediately notify the same to the independent contractor and a copy thereof should be handed over to the tour manager, to enable the Company to take up the matter with the independent contractor.
*Disputes, if any, will be subject to jurisdiction of VADODARA courts only.

Accommodation: Campers will stay in Eco huts.

Campsite: All ANALA campsites are away from maddening crowds of the cities

Escorts:
Trained volunteers will escort the campers from Ahmedabad to the campsite & back. Apart from these volunteers, there will be enough people to look after them at the campsite.

Discipline:
We are very strict with ourselves and the campers. They will not be allowed to go out of the campsite without escorts. The campsite is a safe place and we have an excellent rapport with the local people.
Food: Food will be vegetarian, wholesome & hygienic. In the train, we generally provide the available train food.­ Care will be taken for providing special food for religiously strict participants at the campsite. But the same cannot be guaranteed during the travelling.

Communication:
We do not have a telephone at the campsite.

In case of an Emergency:
Our camp director will be constantly in touch with the office, so in case of any emergency, you should contact our office.

Medical Help:
There is a doctor on call for all medical emergencies. ­All our volunteers are trained in basic first aid.

Toilets: There will be attached toilets with bathrooms. Please help to maintain proper hygiene.

Extra Money:
As such our charges include everything, still you may require some extra money for shopping/refreshments.

Things to be carried:
A list of things to be carried is given in the brochure. Stick to it, if need be, send more but not less.
Water Bottle – with a strap, Gloves , Goggles, Sports shoes with grip ,Warm clothes,  Easy to carry luggage.

Anything else:
Keep the itinerary with you and give only seat nos. to the campers. Though proper care of all the luggage is taken, we will not be responsible for any lost items. We have a system of “Lost & Found” at the campsite. Please pay the balance payment 30 days before the departure.
