Jayalgarh is approximately 90 kms from Rishikesh near Devprayag, away from any tourist destinations or place of pilgrimage. Pitched up on the bank of the gushing River Alaknanda, this campsite would be a wonderful retreat for the entire family, a group of friends or just for you.

Eligibility: 
Students 11 to 22 years

Others 22 yrs and Above (Child with family)

Activities:: White Water Rafting, Kayaking, Bridge Slithering, Cliff Jumping, Rappelling, Jumaring, Bonfires and Team games.

Accommodation: The camp provides comfortable accommodation in luxurious tents. Independent wash rooms, toilets for each tent and a well laid out dining area facing the river enhance the quality of this campsite.

Food: Wholesome and hygienic vegetarian food would be served. Jain Food will be available on prior request at campsite.  Two bottles of drinking water per day will be provided during the train journey.

Medical Facilities:
Essential medical facilities in the form of first aid would be available at the campsite. All emergencies would be treated by the nearest available doctor / medical facility.

Please Carry:
Four pair of clothes, shorts or comfortable fit track pants (for rafting), sweater / jacket, bath towel, sunscreen lotion, cap, sunglasses, string for spectacles, torch (with extra batteries), socks, sports shoes, floaters / sandals, water bag with strap and sanitary requisites and polybag for wet/soiled clothes etc. Binoculars and camera are optional.  Sleeping material & Dinner set will be provided at the campsite.  Please carry sleeping material for Non AC train journey.

Cell Phones:
are allowed during travelling & only inside the tent at the campsite.  Mobile photography is strickly prohibited.


All the Items
mentioned should preferably be packed in a rucksack that is easier to carry.

Tentative Schedule For Batch No. 01

Day 1: Depart from Ahmedabad for Haridwar by train in the morrning.

Day 2: Arrive Haridwar in afternoon. Lunch and depart for Jayalgarh by bus. Arrive at Campsite in the evening.  Dinner & Tent allotment.

Day 3: After breakfast, there will be rappelling and Jumaring. Return to the camp for lunch and post lunch and Water exercise & Kayaking. 

Day 4: After breakfast, Rafting on river Alaknanda. Return to camp for lunch, Bridge Slithering in the evening.

Day 5: After breakfast, Rafting on river Alaknanda for the second time , Back to the campsite for Lunch.  Concluding session in the evening.

Day 6: Depart from Jayalgarh after breakfast with pack lunch to Haridwar and then to Ahmedabad by Train.

Day 7: Arrive Ahmedabad in evening.

*If we don't get the tickets in a direct train, we may go via Ajmer or Udaipur.

  • Final travel schedule will be ready 2 days before the departure.
  • There would be a theory session on Rafting. Camp games like cricket, volleyball, etc. that can be attempted during the free time at the campsite.
Charges:
Our charges are inclusive of accomodation, travelling from Ahmedbad (by different modes), food, service charges and service tax.  All charges are per person.

Non AC Train Journey: 
Rs. 15,800/- For students (11-22 yrs)
Rs. 17,800/- For others (Above 22 yrs)
Rs. 13,000/- For Child with family (5-10 yrs)

3AC Train Journey: 
Rs. 18,500/- For students (11-22 yrs)
Rs. 20,500/- For others (Above 22 yrs)
Rs. 15,200/- For Child with family (5-10 yrs)

lease fill up the registration form and pay an advance of Rs.3500/-  for Non AC train journey & Rs. 6000/- for 3AC train journey to confirm your booking. The balance payment should reach our office at least 15 days before the commencement of the journey. Reservation is done on first come first served basis.

Package Cost Includes

All meals during the camp / tour (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner). Transfers & sightseeing as mentioned in the itinerary by Non-A/c Vehicle. Accommodation in Tents.  Assistance on arrival.

Package Cost Does Not Include
Any meals other than those mentioned above.  Any Hotel tips, Room Service, Laundry, Mineral water, Telephone charges and all items of personal nature and meals and drinks not specified in the inclusions. Any services not specifically mentioned in the inclusions. Camera fees wherever applicable. Ropeway/Boating charges wherever applicable. In case if any sightseeing place is cancelled or rescheduled, due to any unforeseen reasons, no refund will be given for that. 
 
Cheques or DD should be in favour of OUTDOORS UNLIMITED, payable at Vadodara only.

Cancellation Charges*:
Minimum : @10%
Between 30 & 15 days : @25%
Between 14 & 8 days : @50%
Last 7 days : No Refund

*cancellation charges will be applicable on total Program cost.
*Please note that the booking is not transferable.
*Please bring original receipt for claiming the refund.

●Cheque/Demand Draft should be issued in favour of OUTDOORS UNLIMITED, payable at Vadodara.

●Outstation cheque shall not be accepted without additional charge of Rs. 150/- per cheque. Confirmation of Participation would be done only once the cheque is cleared and the remittance is deposited in our account.

●Payment against dishonored cheque/s to be paid in cash with additional charge of Rs.200/- per cheque.

●The balance payment is to be paid atleast 15 days before the departure of the batch. If the balance payment is not made on time, it would automatically be considered cancelled without any prior intimation and no refund would be given in this regard.

●No refund shall be given if the participant terminates the camp at any point due to any reason.

●The amount once paid is not-transferable to any other programme or to any other person.

●Jain food may be served on specific request, subject to availability.

●It shall be the participant's responsibility to collect the necessary travel documents from our office on time.

●The organizers, agencies or any individual connected with the camp / programme shall not be held responsible in case of any accident or any unforeseen natural calamity.

●The organisers shall not be held responsible for loss/theft of the participants luggage and belongings.

●In case if the camp days increases due to any unforeseen circumstances, the participants will have to pay Rs.400/- per head per day in cash to the Group Leader.

Outdoors Unlimited has the right to use the participant's name, information and photographs in promotional materials, brochures and press releases.

  • Accommodation: Campers will stay in Tents / Eco huts as per programme. Females and Males would be accommodated separately.
  • Campsite: All ANALA campsites are away from maddening crowds of the cities
  • Escorts: Trained volunteers will escort the campers from Ahmedabad to the campsite & back. Apart from these volunteers, there will be enough people to look after them at the campsite.
  • Discipline: We are very strict with ourselves and the campers. They will not be allowed to go out of the campsite without escorts. The campsite is a safe place and we have an excellent rapport with the local people.
  • Food: Food will be vegetarian, wholesome & hygienic. In the train, we generally provide the available train food.­ Care will be taken for providing special food for religiously strict participants at the campsite. But the same cannot be guaranteed during the travelling.
  • Communication: We do not have a telephone at the campsite. But the campers will get a chance to call up at home during their visit to the town.
  • Mobile Phones: Please do not send/bring mobile phones – because it’s part of the learning.
  • In case of an Emergency: Our camp director will be constantly in touch with the office, so in case of any emergency, you should contact our office.
  • Medical Help: There is a doctor on call for all medical emergencies. ­All our volunteers are trained in basic first aid.
  • Toilets: There will be attached toilets with bathrooms. Please help to maintain proper hygiene.
  • Extra Money: As such our charges include everything, still they may require some extra money for shopping/refreshments. Give/bring only as much as they/you can handle.
  • ­Things to be carried: A list of things to be carried is given in the brochure. Stick to it, if need be, send more but not less.
  • Water Bottle – with a strap, Gloves , Goggles, Sports shoes with grip ,Warm clothes,  Easy to carry luggage.
  • While in Train: Campers should not get down of the train at the stations. In case of any requirement, the group leader should be informed
  • Anything else: Keep the itinerary with you and give only seat nos. to the campers. Though proper care of all the luggage is taken, we will not be responsible for any lost items. We have a system of “Lost & Found” at the campsite. Please pay the balance payment 15 days before the departure.
  • Report   outside inquiry counter  only. Do not reach directly to the train.
